Abstract
A fault tree is a model of various parallel and consequential combinations of component states or fault events that can cause or result in the occurrence of some system state, generally an undesired event. The advantage of fault tree analysis is that you can consider simultaneous failures. One component, two, three, four, five, all the way u. This is really one of the primary reasons that this technique is used. Fault tree analysis is just a process by which the fault tree model is generated. I am going to speak today on the generation of the model and then on a qualitative analysis of this model. The objective of this is to provide information to be used for the basis of decisions.
