- Abstract
- An interactive computer program for simulating the smoke filling in a two-room structure is described. Each room is divided into two homogenious layers, a hot layer next to the ceiling and a cool layer next to the floor. For given fire size and vent geometry of the two-room structure the model predicts the thickness and temperature of the smoke layers as funciton of time. Roof and mechanical venting is accounted for in the model.
