- Abstract
- The National Bureau of Standards (NBS) is engaged in developing performance specifications for optimum effectiveness of residential smoke detectors. As part of this program, studies have been conducted of the fire and smoke response characteristics for most of the residential smoke detectors on the U. S. market.
