- This document provides technical interpretations of DOE 5480.7A fire protection objectives and DOE 6430.1A criteria. The technical basis for the fire hazards analysis, the design basis fire, the maximum possible fire loss, the maximum credible fire loss, fire protection requirements, and discussion of various methods used to satisfy the FHA and SAR order requirements and provide consistency between the analyses are also addressed.
