- These explosives accident/incident abstracts have been disseminated between 1 September 1961 and july 1967 as a result of a voluntary program instituted by the Armed Services Explosives SafetyBoard. The purpose of this program is to effect expeditious dissemination of accident/incident information to all concerned with a view toward forestalling, where possible, similar occurrences.
