- Abstract
- Technical issues concerned with underlying factors that can potentially affect the levels of PCDD and PCDF emmission from MSW fire incinerators have been analyzed. Major conclusions of this study are that presorting of municipal waste prior to incineration to remove chlorine does not appear to be a resonable option and that PCDD and PCDF formation is not likely to take place in the stack of an incinerator.
