- Abstract
- This analysis was limited to the computer assets of the Aeromechanics Divison of the Flight Dynamics Directorate, Wright Laboratory. The two most significant risks to the systems analyzed were identified as water damage and infection by computer virus. Provisions have been made to prevent, detect, and correct any occurrence of the latter. The fire protection systems in the main computer rooms of Bldg. 450 are outdated and present as much risk to the computer equipment as fire itself. Those systems should be upgraded to provide a level of protection comparable to similar commercial facilities.
