- Abstract
- Laser-saturated fluorescene (LSF) measurements are adversely affected by the fractional laser power in the wings of the transverse irradiance distribution. Analyzing the accompanying probe volume effects, an improved calibration method which provides absolute number densities without recourse to absorption measurements.
