- Abstract
- The goal of this research study was to quantify the impact that changes have on engineering and construction project performance. Using previous CII studies and reports as a starting point, we developed and tested a series of hypotheses about those impacts. We were particularly concerned with identifying reliable, quantitative relationships between the amount and timing of change and the consequences of such change. This report presents our findings. In each case, linear regression models are presented in this report to allow the reader to make general comparisons between specific project experience and that of the 104 projects analyzed in this study.
