Abstract
Community-based fire safety education is a research-based methodology that brings proven, state-of-the-art marketing techniques and principles developed by the advertising industry to fire safety efforts. The key is to find out exactly where fires and fire deaths are occurring and to concentrate fire prevention efforts on reaching the residents who live there.
