- Abstract
- The identification of cost-effective levels of fire safety in health care facilities is a major concern to hospital administrators, fire safety engineers and public policy makers. The prohibitive costs of strict compliance to the prescriptive provisions of the Life Safety Code in hopsitals and nursing homes has led to the development of an equivalency methodology.
