- Abstract
- Awareness of the life hazards associated with smoke formation in fires has resulted in increased emphasis in smoke research in recent years. (1),(2) special emphasis has been given to the determination of the properties of the smoke particulates generated by different materials under different fire conditions, and the elucidation of the mechanisms responsible for smoke formation.
