- Abstract
- [ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH] Ionization and photoelectric detectors were studied in several city and country locations in Japan. Insect penetration clearly triggered only one false alarm but may have caused three more, for a total of 3%. Insect netting placed in the internal compartment or over the smoke detection opening may effectively prevent insect penetration.
