- Abstract
- For the program on the determination of the structural properties of low-cost house constructions, the Homasote Co., Trenton, NJ, submitted 12 specimens representing a wall construction consisting of a wood frame with "Homasote" insulating fiberboard on both faces. The specimens were subjected to compressive, transverse, impact, and racking loads; for each load three like specimens were tested. The deformation under load and the set after the load was removed were measured for uniform increments of load. The results are presented in graphs and in a table.
