- Abstract
- This is hardly anything so coveted today than are data: everyone is clinging to them as if they were pure gold. By analogy we could rightly speak of an age of data rush. As the gold rush was in old times, so the way to, and the handling of data today is accompained by risks and dangers, and anyone inpossession of them is well advised to take good care of them! Here too, there are thieves and forgers, people who offer "light" coin, and others who lull themselves into a sense of false security. Data are in demand, and are, therefore, in danger.
