- Abstract
- This paper compiles the various types of location-allocation models which analyze the impact of varying the number and location of fire stations. The assumptions of each model, the relationships between models, and possible heuristics and algorithms are discussed. In addition, a methodology of spatial concepts analogous to those used in transporation planning is presented.
