- The beginnings of Agrement in France and its spread to the other European countries are described. Building legislation and the costs of industrialized building methods are touched on, also the specialized nature of evaluations for Agrement. The South African Agrement Board and its procedures are described and specified uses of building elements. The contents of Certificates and use of outside testing bodies and reports are discussed. The value of Certificates is set out and reference papers are quoted.
