- Abstract
- A method of packaging MK 26 through MD 32 Detonating Delay elements was developed and evaluated for Navy use. Ten delay elements are packed in polyurethane sleeves inside a M2A1 ammunition box. Testing indicates that the packaging offers adequate physical and environmental protection to the delay elements, while reducing the propagation hazard.
