- The National Building Research Institute is, in essence, a practical applied research organization serving the building and construction industry and operating in close contact with it and the related professions and governmental and private sector organizations. Its research and its equally important research communication and information dissemination activities are directed towards solving the problems which face the industry and trying to ensure that these solutions are made known and put into practice.
