- Bushfires in Australia take several lives each year. A light, personal tent covered with reflective aluminium foil has been tested and appears to offer salvation to anyone using it when trapped in a bushfire. However, it has not yet been tested in grassland fires. The idea of constructing the tent is based on the knowledge that bushfires kill by radiated heat.
