- Abstract
- An investigation was made to determine if military fire fighting vehicles could be used for chemical biological (CB) decontamination service without permeanently degrading their fire fighting capability. Equipment capabilities, compatibility with decontaminants, and decontaminant effectiveness were considered. It was determined that the use of fire fighting equipment is feasible with detergent solutions, cleaning compounds, and lithium hydroxide solutions.
