- ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH The efficiency of fire extinguishing installations and the effectiveness of a fire brigade are compared and the favors of each system are discussed. Furthermore economic facts concerning system related questions are given and reflections on safety aspects are made. It is pointed out under which circumstances one or the other system might fail in an extreme situation and when by relying on only one system a total loss can be considered. The discussion shows the exclusive use of only one system to be risky.
