- Abstract
- One of the most divisive elements in our society today is consumer dissatisfaction with products and with the effects of products on the environment. In our industrializeed economy, real and created needs of the consumer are attuned to consumption. Imperfect products, processes, and procedures, compounded by consumer mistakes and a lack of understandable information, have brought about a breakdown of communication between the producing and consuming sectors of our society.
