- Abstract
- The Home Fire Project is an attempt to develop a detailed knowledge of the physical phenomena important in fires as they occur in homes. As part of this effort, we felt a detailed numerical study of natural convection in an enclosure would be useful. this is motivated in part by the difficulty of obtaining this information edxperimentally due to the low flow velocities and high temperatures characteristic of a fire in an enclosure.
