- ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH Separation devices allow the direct connection of sprinkler systems with pipes of the drinking water supply and are suitable for the separation of the drinking water supply system from the extinguishing water supply system. The separation device can be used as inexhaustible water source if the local situation allows to install a direct connection. The range of application encloses wet and dry sprinkler systems as well as water supply systems for different fire extinguishing installations. In the future the range of applications can get attractive for the so called automatic extinguishing assistant systems or for small sprinkler systems. Today the possibilities to use separation systems are not delt completely with because of the various possible construction related applications.
