- Fire protection can generally be categorized into fire-proofing, fire alarm systems and fire extinguishing systems. The fire-proofing of precast structure can be achieved by using asbestos or concrete. When used appropriately in a building as structural or protective elements, they provide adequate fire resistance. In such a case, there is a higher probability that the building will not collapse.
