- ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH Fire spread and fire fighting of stored goods are characterized by a great number of material, geometric and constructive factors of influence. There are characteristic values being necessary for numerical simulations as start - or border conditions that can be traced by technical measurement only insuficciently if at all. Experimental analysis of fires in grillbox, compact and pallet stores showed that speed of flame spread and heat release does not only depend on the above mentioned factors of influence but also on bigness and position of the ignition source.
