- Abstract
- Danish fire regulations are covered by the Fire Prevention Act and Buildings Act. Electricity, gas and labour protection is covered under a separate law. The first such building code was introduced in 1961 and became applicable to the whole country. The aim was that each building should comply with safety regulations against fire and general health standards. These have become applicable to new buildings and any modification of old buildings.
