- Abstract
- ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH Fire extinguishing systems and especially automatic extinguishing systems have a high status relating to other installations of fire prevention to decrease damages; but though there are not constraints for a connection to the drinking water supply system. Water supply enterprises working by order of local authorities have to provide water for fire fighting purposes from the drinking water supply system to allow the fire brigade's duties being done. But this obligation only covers basic protection, not the protection of each object. Otherwise, an agreement on a connection to the drinking water supply system can be reached with the water supply enterprise provided that the capacity of the supply system is sufficient.
