- You have heard of the changes in fire protection technology t be expected from the fruition of concepts now under developent or foreseeable in the research laboratories. My assignment in this anniversary program is to suggest the impact both of these technological and other developments on the members of our profession. What will our younger colleagues be like; what changes in attitudes and skills will be apparent in our more succfessful contemporaries? How should our society cope with these changes.
