- Abstract
- The prime objective of this study was to determine the most effective method and agent for cooling ordnance involved in an aircraft carrier deck fire. Water and aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) were comparison tested as cooling agents for ordnance heated in propane fires. As a reference, natural radiation and convection cooling of ordnance were also included.
