- Abstract
- On April 14, 1971 the Bureau of the Census convened a two-day conference of persons representing various aspects of the fire service in local governments and others representing organizations with particular interest in the fire services provided by local governments. The prupose of this conference was to discuss the needs for statistical data describing the fire service, and the possible uses of such data by the fire service and other governmental or private agencies.
