- Abstract
- The Compartment Fire Model Research group of the Center for Fire Research, National Bureau of Standards has been charged with the development of a "benchmark" compartment fire model. As part of this activity, a catalog of available fire model algorithms is being compiled. This paper presents a proposal for the organization, format, and use of the catalog. Appendix A of this report is a copy of the proposed introductory text for the catalog. Appendix B presents the Table of Contents for the first edition of the catalog, and Appendix C contains several examples of catalog algorithm write-ups. Finally, Appendix D lists the references used in Appendix A.
