Abstract
[ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH] We developed flame-retardant EFLEX-FR for protection of plastic cables laid in concrete-placed sections of nuclear power plant buildings. A cable conduit for such application must be easy to install, flame retarant and resistant to radiation, must have a high mechanical strength to withstand the impact of concrete placing and must ensure easy passible of cable. Flame-retardant EFLEX-FR as a flexible cable conduit meets the requirements of JIS C3653 and Article 148 of the Technical Standards for Electrical Equipment and is capable of passing the vertical tray flame test of IEEE Standard 383. It is widely in use. This report introduces the properties of flame-retardant EFLEX-FR.
