- Abstract
- A 7-month program is described to carry out surveys in regard to the general consumer awareness of problems associated with accidential burning of fabric products. Techniques and program designs based on the experience generated previously by The Gillette Company for use in other consumer study programs will be used as a basis for tailoring a program for the proposed project. The project will be made up of a number of tasks including: 1) delineation of specific questions and objectives; 2) development of open ended questionnaires; 3) formulation of structured questionnaires; 4) evaluation of product concepts; 5) conduction of "Focus Group" sessions and 6) interpretation and reporting of the results. Both gillette personnel and outside trained interviewers will be used to execute the contract work.
