- Professor Lucht will describe the background and development of the fire protection engineering program at WPI. This includes the goals of the Center forFiresafety Studies, current operations and the MS, MEng and Phd degrees in fire protection engineering. Commentary will also be provided on the US engineering education climate and the strategic importance of FPE degree programs.
