- Abstract
- This specification covers twin-tip shutoff nozzles for use in forest fire suppression. These nozzles are each equipped with a three-position valve and two parallel outlets so that a straight-stream or a finely divided spray can be directed on the fire. Various sized tips of both straight-stream and spray are available, and the nozzles are lightweight and of compact and rugged construction. They are intended for use with working pressures up to 600 psi.
