- Abstract
- Mr. hairman and members of the Committee, I am very plesed to appear before you on behalf of the Federal Trade Commission to present our budgetary requirements for fiscal 1973. Mr. Chairman, I intend to discuss some of the highlights of the past year andour plans for the next year, rather than summarizing our appropriations request. A recitation of man-years and dollars can never capture the flavor of what we do nor some of the excitement that comes from successful programs on behalf of the public. However, efore I do so, I would like to express my appreciation for the support of this Committee in approving in full the level of funding recommended for FTC by the President for fiscal year 1972.
