- Abstract
- The building process in the United States is highly fragmented. Each project engages a unique team of participants drawn from various disciplines and specialties in different firms, and any participant may be engaged in more than one project. The specific activity associated with each participant may vary from project to project, so that each may require and generate different information elements in various projects. The network of information flows among participants may vary as well.
