- Abstract
- This talk is specifically on public education for fire safety. The problem we face is recognizing that there is a problem. My perspective for the following comments is based on some 15 years of involvement in the vocational rehabilitation of handicapped individuals, particularly individuals who are handicapped because of blindness or severe orthopedic impairments. My perspective is further based on my being totally blind, although I had functional vision until several years ago.
