- Abstract
- The hose covered by this specification is single, cotton synthetic jacketed, which permits lightweight construction in relation to strength. It is designed for use with portable pumpers, heavy-dtuy pumpers, and tank trucks to control and extinguish forest fires. Working pressures range up to 450 pounds per square inch. The hose is often transported by air, manpack, or by animal for long distances over steep and rough forest terrain.
