- As the leader of the CO Production and Prediction Project, I am pleased to find there has recently been a great deal of interest in the experimental findings and algorithms which are being generated as part of the project. (Note: For those interested a written summary of progress thus far and proposals for FY92 can be obtained from Ruth Perkins.) As a result of this interest, a variety of disparate suggestions have been put forward by knowledgeable researchers concerning the next steps which should be taken. Since I am currently formulating a research plan for FY92, now seems an appropriate time to review program progress and solicit comments about near-future research directions. I have scheduled the updat and review for Wednesday, July 3, in Room B245, Building 224 at 2:00 PM. An hour is allocated for a review of the program and suggestions for FY92 by the project leader which is to be followed by two fifteen minutes time slots for researchers who have suggested alternate approaches. An hour is included at the end for others to add additional comments and to attempt to develop a concensus by the attendees with the project leader concerning next year's effort.
