- Abstract
- Description of the characteristic stages in the development of a fire, from the pre-flashover stage to the extinction of a natural fire. Description of the main parameters affecting the development of a natural fire; effect of the fire load under otherwise constant marginal conditions; likewise the effect of ventilation and the selection building materials in conjunction with steel bearing structures. The interrelations are to be supplemented with pictures (photos and diagrams) illustrating the fire load intensity and the combination fire load/ventilation. In this section the principal interrelations are to be described in a way understandable to everyone without theoretical elaboration.
