- Abstract
- Arson and firesetting have caused increasingly serious economic, social, and health care problems. Data provided by Teague provide some indication of the rapid increase in arson in the United States. In 1964 there were 30,900 fires of confirmed or suspected incendiary origin, causing 60 million dollars in direct losses.
