Abstract
ONLY ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH First, we pointed out that aged living alone and aged men have higher risk of residential fire death than other aged statistically. And then, we held an investigation on living condition of aged living alone in Nakano-ku, Edogawa-ku and Mitaka-shi of Tokyo. The investigation consists of interview, observation and sketch of their living room. As the result, we obtained some knowledge shown in following lines as well as some risky cases. (1) There is possibility of tidiness of their living room and income being mutually related. (2) There is possibiity of fire prevention measures being limited by income. (3) In some cases of poverty but there being someone taking car of the aged, fire prevention measures are not limited by income. (4) They don't tend to recognize that they have high risk of residential fire death.
