Abstract
ONLY ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH Recently, there is a demand for utilizing aerial ladder in fire fighting at a building of less than or equal to four stories. However, urban road situations and densely built houses make it difficult to staion an ordinary aerial ladder truck close to buildings. For example, narrow roads, power-transmission wires and guard rails could cause difficulties in positioning a ladder. The authors have developed a model of special small-size ladder truck to be used in the situations mentioned above including normal fire fighting. As a result of performance test, the authors have found that the model can bypass the supposed obstacles to position the ladder to middle or lower (3 or 4) stories of the buildings.
