- Abstract
- In order to conduct a thorough fire safety analysis, the analyst must mix both theory and experience. The Ship FireSafety Engineering Methodology (SFSEM) is the theory, but in order to utilize it successfully, the analyst must have a significant knowledge of the ship being analyzed as well as experience in fire protection.
