- Abstract
- The subject of this report is a floor and ceiling assembly consisting of a 2-1/4 in. thick concrete floor supported on steel joists and a beam. The floor was protected by a membrane ceiling consisting of 12 by 12 by 3/4 in. thick acoustical ceiling tiles on a concealed grid suspension system containing six recessed light fixtures and one air duct. The test assembly was constructed as shown in Ill. 1.
