- Abstract
- A review of statistical methods for fire testing has been carried out. The methods described include determination of confidence intervals for point data, linear regression lines and non-linear regression curves. Hypothesis testing to determine whether the results are within expected limits is discussed with several examples. Some non-parametric methods, and methods to determine whether an assumption of normally distributed data can be made, are also included.
