Abstract
Many test methods have been developed in countries for evaluation of building materials against fire. Each test method, however, only watches a certain phase of a fire. The data from these test methods actually give information about partial fires, but most of them seem to show an apparent fire properties. They are not essential to evaluate actual fire properties of materials in a building fire. Recently, therefore, a new test method has been required to develop measurement of real properties of materials in fire. This paper deals with a direction of getting materials fire properties which are needed for prediction of fire growth in a building.
